Face oils are currently rising in fame, and for all the good reasons.
I have dry/combination skin and I’ve tried a bunch of face oils within the past few years. My skin has never looked better ever since I incorporated face oils into my routine.
They have many uses, namely to remove makeup or hydrate any part of the body, including hair! However, this post will only cover a few of my favorites to use in place of or in addition to a face moisturizer for different skin types and issues.

For Day 7 of the Blogmas series, I’m doing something I haven’t covered in a while… Skincare!
My last skincare routine post was way back in September 2014 (read it here) and July 2014 (read it here) and they’ve considerably changed – both of these posts were written when I was still pregnant with Zayden, so check out those posts if you’re interested in pregnancy skincare!
My skin has had its ups and downs in 2015, but the worst acne rampage just happened about two or three months ago. I had cystic acne in places where I usually never had acne before, like my cheeks and forehead, because I usually just get hormonal acne around my jaw area. So this is definitely new territory for me, and it really put my skincare products into test!
My skin has incredibly cleared up now, and I have all these products to thank.

#BLOGMAS DAY 2
Greetings, Earthlings!
For Day 2 of the Blogmas series, I decided to put a little fun twist to this month’s favorites roundup. Since I spent most of the month with a nasty eye infection on both eyes, I haven’t been able to experiment much with makeup, especially eye makeup. So a lot of my favorites are still the same from last month’s, which is why I thought I’d just sort of do an ” everyday makeup routine” post featuring all of my makeup favorites.
Mind you, this is for my “everyday makeup look”, nothing too glam or dramatic, so I’m aiming for a natural makeup look with all these products. 🙂
Sigma brushes, hands down, are some of the best makeup brushes in the market today. They have such a huge fanbase not only because of the quality of their brushes, but for their affordable prices. They often have discounts and promotions so I’d highly recommend getting them when they’re on sale.
If you’re not sure which brushes to get, I’ve laid out my favorite brushes below, which I think every makeup lover, novice or pro, should have! The brushes featured here are individual brushes, but they are included in kits too! I will be featuring my favorite kits at the end of the post too, so make sure you check that out!
