I’ve never done a post like this before, but I think it’s quite useful to know not just the things I do like, but also the things that didn’t work for me, which is why I’ve decided to show you why I decided to return these things despite the hype around them on social media.

I was so ecstatic when Ulta recently gave me a 20% off storewide coupon (yes, prestige brands included!) because I could finally splurge on some things I’ve been eyeing for a while, namely the Ulta-exclusive Too Faced Pretty Little Planner set that was released as part of their Best Year Ever Christmas collection (2017).
Now that I finally got to play around with it a bit, here’s my Too Faced Pretty Little Planner review.

I’ve been subscribed to the Allure Beauty Box for the past 3 months, and by now I think I can finally decide whether I want to continue this subscription or not since I’ve also been subscribed to the Sephora Play and ipsy Glam Bag. Let’s see how they compare!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I’m so happy with what beauty companies are doing to raise awareness for this great cause. This year, Bobbi Brown continues to empower women and is supporting the efforts of the campaign with the Pink Peony Illuminating Bronzing Powder Set, which includes a rosy pink shade of Illuminating Bronzing Powder and a mini, pink Face Blender brush.
In support of The Estee Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign, Bobbi Brown will donate A$16 from the purchase price of the Pink Peony Illuminating Bronzing Powder Set to the National Breast Cancer Foundation! (In the States, US$11 is donated to BCRF).

Last year I wrote an in depth comparison review between three drugstore nude palettes (read here), which included the Maybelline The Nudes palette. In all honesty I kinda lost faith in Maybelline eyeshadows as their palette didn’t really impress me much. However, these new Maybelline The City Mini Palette releases rocked my world, I’m soo ready for more Maybelline eyeshadows!
