February 2016 Makeup Favorites

Since I missed out on sharing my December and January favorites, this Favorites post will include my favorites over the past three months!

Honest Beauty Crème Blush in Truly Flirting

This has been my go-to blush and lip cream for the past two months. The shade is truly flirtatious, it’s a cute, bright rosy pink and adds the perfect pop of color to the cheeks and lips.

I’ve rarely been able to find a cream blush that works really, really well as a lip color, but this truly beats the odds. I will definitely be getting more colors in the future. I’m so glad they’re available at Ulta now!

February 2016 Favorites - Sneak Peek (2)

Glossier Skin Tint in Medium

Out of the three bases I’ve been loving over the past three months, the Glossier Skin Tint is the sheerest of them all, and is the one I’ve been using the most because I use this on days when I’m staying home all day with only a few errands to run.

It’s so moisturizing without making the skin feel tacky or sticky. My skin actually ends up feeling so smooth!

Stay tuned for a Glossier Haul & Review post soon. In the meantime, enjoy 20% off Glossier with this link!

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation Stick & Concealer

I wear this stick foundation on days when I need fuller coverage makeup, i.e. when I want to get really dolled up!

However, the concealer is my current go-to concealer and I’ve been using it everyday.

I’ve done a full review on these two here, check it out for swatches and my thoughts!

MAC x Ellie Goulding Only You Lipstick

This is the only lipstick I currently have in my purse, and it has been there since mid January! I just love this lipstick so much! It’s the perfect color for me (warm-toned muted rosy pink) and I really hope they’ll make this shade permanent because it’s sold out everywhere, so I can’t repurchase it!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit That Glow

I bought both Glow Kit palettes and I’m not surprised that I lean towards this palette a bit more because it’s warm toned, and the other one is cool toned.

I will be writing up a review on both Glow Kit palettes next week, so keep an eye out for it!

L’Oreal Lumi Cushion N4

Getting the perfect shade was a bit of a struggle because I couldn’t get the shade matching card at any of the drugstores I visited. After returning two shades that were too ashy on me, I finally found N4 to be the best shade for me.

I love using this on days when I need lighter makeup – sort of a light foundation, a little bit of blush and mascara kinda day.

Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Love Hangover

Hands down my current favorite blush!

I wrote a full review on the whole Too Faced Love Flush Blush Wardrobe palette here, and ICYMI I’m currently giving away the palette! Check out the blog post here to enter the giveaway!
