Need to freshen up your second (or third, or even fourth) day hair?
Here are some of my favorite hair products for second day hair!
Batiste Dry Shampoo: My favorite spray-on dry shampoo! These are great to dry up your oily roots without having to wash your hair. Smells yummy too! The white powder disappears almost immediately even on dark hair, but they do come in several tints of color. I love spraying this before I do my makeup and leave it on for about 15-30 minutes. After I’m done getting ready, I’ll massage this into my scalp and get rid of the white-ish powder. Leaving it on before massaging it in really helps add volume to your hair!
Liese Hair Refresher: On days when my hair isn’t too oily, but is actually limp or even a bit wet (and maybe smelly!) from being outdoors, I simply use this lovely-smelling, foamy spray to freshen up my locks. Just spray all over and massage it in, the foamy and crackling sounds is actually the product removing all the oils and dirt in your hair.
Utena Matomage Hair Styling Stick: Got frizzy, uncontrollable baby hairs? Simply swipe this wax deodorant-type stick on those hairs and it will remain in place for the remainder of the day. Genius, isn’t it?
Josie Maran Argan Oil Light: I use this almost every day just on the ends of my hair to avoid splitting and dryness. Don’t go overboard with this though, as oiling up your hair too much will limp them down. Simply use a drop or two for the very ends of the hair.
Not Your Mother’s She’s A Tease Hairspray: Second day hair is often “bun day” for me, and I love setting my hair in place with this hairsparay. It’s not too strong, but it does its job and smells pleasant! This is also great at holding second-day curls in place – not too stiff, not too loose either.
Lady Jayne Style Guards: For days at home with a lazy ponytail, I use these kink-free spirals to avoid hair breakage and kinks. Very gentle for the hair but holds them in place!
Lady Jayne Smoothies Luxury Velvet Elastics: For days out when my hair is up in a bun, I wanna make sure my hair doesn’t get damaged. These velvet scrunchies are so gentle on the hair, but holds them so strongly in place!
Lady Jayne Detangling Brush: My favorite detangling brush, so much better than the Tangle Teezer! And it comes in a travel size too!
