Hey, loves! I have a fun post for you today.

I came across Beti of Makeup Sessions’ “Fall Favorites Tag” on her blog and loved it, so I thought I’d recreate it to suit the season I’m in right now – Spring!

Read on to see my Spring faves – from beauty, to fashion, to entertainment!

Favorite Spring Candle: Diptyque Roses Candle. Definitely. The one pictured is a limited edition Roses Duet (basically a double dose of roses!) and it’s so gorgeous! I now use it as a brush stand and my brushes smell like roses because I didn’t actually clean the waxes off once it’s all burned up! I like having my brushes smell like roses. LOL.

Favorite Spring Lip Color: YSL Rouge Volupte in 01 Nude Beige topped off with Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in Pretty! A truly pretty and glossy nude pink for spring!

Favorite Spring Drink: Since Hayfever season is here, I’ve been having difficulties sleeping. Puffy, sore eyes and stuffy, itchy nose are keeping me awake all night! So I’ve been heavily relying on coffee these days. Gotta love my “Keep Calm and Carry On Shopping” mug from Marshall’s!

Favorite Spring Blush: Becca Mineral Blush in Flowerchild. No-brainer. Click here for my review! However… I seriously need to stop raving about that blush. LOL. Another Spring blush fave of mine is the Milani Powder Blush in Tea Rose, a vibrant and rosy medium dusty-pink with a matte finish.

Favorite Spring Clothing Item: Melbourne’s weather is very, very unstable. Australians would know that. We could have four seasons in one day, especially during transitional seasons like Fall and Spring – the weather can get really mixed up. We could have hail in the morning, scorching sunshine in the afternoon, thunderstorms in the evening, and a nice warm weather at night. So even though it’s Spring now, it can still get pretty windy and cold at times, but I don’t want to wear my raincoat or jacket during the day. A great solution is to bring along a scarf, and this floral scarf from Forever 21 has been a purse-staple of mine!

Favorite Spring Movie: I’m not sure what Fall/Spring Movie means… Is it a movie you always watch during that time of year? Or a new release? Haha. Anywhoo, I’m just gonna go with new releases.

The last instalment of the Hunger Games movie franchise is coming out soon, and I am obsessed with the books. So I think that would be my favorite once its comes out! If you’ve read the book, you’ll know how epic the ending would be 😉

Favorite Spring TV Show: Aah, there are so many TV shows I’ve been loving lately, and I can’t choose one!

My current Top 5 TV Shows would be:

Quantico (Eddie Thawne is alive and well, y’all!)
Once Upon A Time (Dark Swan is getting on my nerves. Seriously.)
The Flash (I miss you Eddie Thawne! 🙁 )
Supergirl (Girl power YAAAS! Oh and nothing beats seeing Lexie Grey alive.)
Heroes Reborn (Chuck Bartowski reborn with fire powers? Yes, please!)

Favorite Thanksgiving Food: Not sure what I should change this to. Any suggestions? LMAO. We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, but I do like turkey! I spend most Christmases in the States with my family and my sister in law cooks the best Christmas dishes, one of them being stuffed turkey. Gawd I miss Christmas. 🙁 Few weeks to go!

Favorite Halloween Costume: Halloween isn’t really that big of a deal compared to the Spring Races here in Australia! People still dress up in costumes though, but I’m honestly much more intrigued by the ladies’ fancy hats and pretty clutches! LOL. Anyways, back to the question.

I personally don’t celebrate Halloween, and have never dressed up for Halloween. EVER. I grew up in a very strict, orthodox Christian family (and private school) so Halloween was practically banned. I do enjoy seeing other people’s costumes though! And since I don’t want my son to miss out on the fun of dressing up, I have actually been dressing him up in silly costumes every year.

He was a crayfish last year at only two weeks old…
