The Tarte Double Duty Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lipgloss Duo have seriously made my life easier. With one lipstick on one side and a corresponding lipgloss on the other, I no longer have to bring two separate lip products in my purse or when I travel!

Shades

VIP: Cool nude. I honestly don’t think this is cool-toned, it’s much more neutral toned and works so well on many skintones! The lipgloss shade is much warmer than the lipstick.

Voltage: Peachy pink. Much brighter than I anticipated, so gorgeous! The lipgoss is brighter and redder than the lipstick, which will brighten up the whole look when worn together.

Sass: Mauve. Such a sassy mauve, it’s a couple of shades darker than my natural lip color. It just adds the perfect amount of depth and color to the lips.

I love them all equally but I wear VIP the most just because I’m such a sucker for nudes MLBB shades!

The color payoff of all the lipsticks are incredible and they last at least 5-6 hours with food and drinks, which is pretty impressive for something so hydrating and moisturizing.

Formula

As with all Tarte lip products, these are very moisturizing. My lips have been very chapped since I became pregnant, blame the hormones! So not too many lip products have worked on me, but these are definitely very comfortable to wear and they don’t worsen my lips’ dryness.

Application-wise, they glide on like a dream on the lips and once applied, they don’t transfer, smear or feather out. The lipglosses also comfortably sit on the lips without being too sticky.

Packaging

The product simply comes with a lipstick on one end, and a lipgloss on the other end.

The lipgloss comes with a flat doe-foot applicator and the product is packaged in a clear tube, making it easy for us to see the real color of the gloss. However, the size of the lipgloss tube is pretty small. Wish it was a bit bigger because I reapply the gloss a lot!

Final Verdict

I seriously don’t have anything bad to say about these! Their longevity isn’t out-of-this-world unbelievable but they’re very pigmented and moisturizing. These colors in particular are great for everyday use!

I’ve never tried any of the other colors but I highly recommend these ones!
