Clinique is another brand that I’ve been using since I was in college, and one of the first skincare lines I’ve ever committed to. Not everything from their brand was suitable for my skin, I find that the cleansers were too harsh on my skin, but I’ve had great experiences with their toner, moisturizers and cleansing balm.
I was recently sent three products from Clinique and I was so thrilled because I swear by two of the products I was sent, and the other product was one I’ve been eyeing for a while!

Bobbi Brown has a special place in my heart, not only for the exceptional quality of her products, but because some of my very first makeup items were from the brand. I still have my first matte eyeshadow palette ever, and her classic Petal Rose Shimmer Brick was one of my very first highlighters ever – and this was from way back when “highlighting” wasn’t even trendy yet!
So I’m pumped that I get to review some of her new releases. In this blog post, I will be reviewing the:
- Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Sunset;
- Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm in Pink Glow; and
- Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Rose.
Check out my thoughts on these beauties below!

A few weeks ago I saw Youtube videos by Emily Noel (emilynoel83) and Jessica Braun (JAMbeauty89) on the 10 things they’d buy first if all their makeup disappeared and I love the idea of curating a list like this because it truly shows which products I SERIOUSLY cannot live without.
So I decided to list out my picks, but only from the drugstore because to be completely honest, if I did lose all my makeup I would be too depressed to repurchase anything from Sephora or department stores at first. Realistically, the first place I’d hit up would be Ulta, Target, Walgreens or Walmart (or Priceline in Australia) LOL.

I recently got a wonderful package from Shu Uemura, and it contains five shades of the Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited lipstick range! I was so stoked because I love Shu Uemura lipsticks (especially their packaging!), and the colors were so bright and fun.
These newly reformulated lipsticks come in 38 shades and are supposed to be very moisturizing despite their super opaque and intense color payoff.
Check out my Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Lipstick review and swatches below!
