Top 5 Best Affordable Drugstore Makeup

best affordable makeup

In light of the Priceline Cosmetics sale event, I’ve compiled a list of my top 5 best affordable makeup picks that are available at Priceline! I’ve listed out all of my favorites on my Priceline Makeup Favorites post to help you decide what to get during the sale.

I’ve also written a Top 10 Best Drugstore Makeup post before, but I’ve discovered so many new favorites over the past two years that my top favorites have changed. I’m not saying I don’t like the products I mentioned in that post anymore, I just have newer products that I’ve been using more of.

This was soooo hard but after a lot of thought and consideration, here are my current picks for best affordable makeup!

Disclaimer: These products were personally purchased except some shades of the Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons, which were generously provided for consideration. However, all opinions expressed are unbiased and of my own. No monetary payment was received for this review. Post may contain affiliate links.

BURT’S BEES LIP CRAYON

AVAILABLE FROM: AmazonTarget, Ulta, Walmart ($4.50-$9), Priceline (A$16.99)

I’ve reviewed the whole range here. These are creamy, ultra pigmented, and so long-wearing the darker colors could withstand food and drinks so well. My favorite color is actually a mixture of Niagara Overlook and Hawaiian Smolder, but I also love Redwood Forest! These are so moisturizing so it’s safe for use if you have dry, chapped lips.

COVERGIRL TRUBLEND BLUSH

AVAILABLE FROM: Amazon, TargetUlta ($9), Priceline (A$18.99)

I’ve reviewed the whole range, including the bronzer, here. My favorite shade is Medium because it is so neutral toned that it works with all makeup looks! This is, hands down, my current favorite drugstore blush.

The Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes are very similar but smaller in size. I also love Milani baked blushes but some shades from the range have too much glitter/shimmer in them, my favorite one will always be Luminoso!

ESSENCE  I ♥ EXTREME VOLUME MASCARA

AVAILABLE FROM: Amazon, Ulta, Target ($3-$5), Priceline (A$5.75)

This isn’t necessarily the best mascara out there, but for the price, I seriously am soo impressed. I still like the Maybelline Lash Sensational ($8.99) and L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara ($9.99) better because they’re a tad more volumizing, but depending on the store, they can be very expensive (up to A$22 in Australia)! I throw out mascaras every 3-4 months so it ends up being very expensive. Essence mascaras, however, are only $5, some stores sell it for as low as $2.50 depending on promotions.

I highly recommend this because they’re 1) unbelievably cheap, 2) long lasting, and 3) lengthens, volumizes, and separates the lashes really well. Overapplying this could make the lashes look very spidery – they’re that lengthening – so if you’re not into spidery lashes, make sure you don’t overapply!

PHYSICIANS FORMULA MURU MURU BUTTER BRONZER

AVAILABLE FROM: Amazon, Ulta, Walmart ($14), Priceline (A$29.95)

I’ve reviewed the Physicians Formula Butter Blushes, which includes swatches of the Butter Bronzer, here. This is hands down the best drugstore bronzer I’ve ever, ever, encountered. Plus it smells like piña colada. They now come in several different shades!

PHYSICIANS FORMULA SHIMMER STRIPS ALL-IN-1 CUSTOM NUDE PALETTE FOR FACE & EYES

AVAILABLE FROM: Amazon, Ulta, Walmart ($9 – 15), Priceline (A$24.95)

Eyeshadow, highlighter, blush and bronzer in one palette for $14.97? Yes, please! Believe it or not, this highlighter is even better than most of my high end ones. They give the cheeks a very soft, lit-from-within sheen and the shimmers aren’t chunky at all. They glide on the skin so smoothly!

Do you see any of your favorites on this list? What would your top 5 best affordable makeup picks be?
