Back in December, I posted my skincare routine and review of the Elucent Skincare range here. My skin was so congested, I had clogged pores all over my chin and jaw, but two weeks into my new routine I was already seeing big changes.
Fast forward to April, my skin was so smooth, but it often felt tight and dry and my hyperpigmentation was still very much visible, so I made small changes made in my routine.
As effective as the Elucent Anti Ageing Night Moisturiser was at tackling clogged pores, it felt too light on my dry and dehydrated skin. As the whole Anti Ageing range contains AHAs, it can tend to dry out and over-exfoliate the skin and I simply needed to balance out my skin. So after I used it up, I replaced it with the Elucent Whitening Night Moisturiser as it is heavier in texture, but also added the Elucent Anti Ageing Serum to prevent my skin from being congested and Elucent Whitening Day Moisturiser SPF 30 to help target hyperpigmentation.
There are several side effects to rhinoplasty and non-surgical nose jobs. One of these is swelling of the nose, cheeks, and eyes. You can expect more serious swelling if you go for the surgical procedure since it involves the dissection of your tissues and possible fracturing of the nasal bone. The time taken to get rid of the swelling completely will depend on the specific procedure you went through.
It can be an uphill task to figure out the best way to take care of your skin, considering the amount of information that is available on the internet. But before you start taking care of our skin, you need to first understand what type of skin you have. There are 5 different skin types that can help you to understand the category of your skin. The skin is the largest body organ, and it is also complicated enough to fit perfectly into one category.
Several factors influence the behavior of your skin, and the guide below is going to help you get a clearer understanding of the overall behavior of your skin. Once you understand the category of your skin, you will be in a position to choose the right products and methods of taking care of your skin.
When you hear the terms “skin resurfacing” and “skin rejuvenation” you might think they are interchangeable, but the reality is that they are two often different things. Skin resurfacing refers to procedures which specifically target the surface of your skin, such as laser peels and chemical peels. However, skin rejuvenation procedures include resurfacing techniques as well as procedures of any kind that are designed to make your skin look better, even if those procedures treat deeper skin tissues.
I’m so excited I can finally share about some products from my skincare routine for congestions and clogged pores!
I started weaning my son from breastfeeding shortly before he turned one in September, and boy did my skin hate me for that! I thought pregnancy acne was bad, but no one ever told me weaning acne would be far worse! To top it all off, seasonal changes was also a culprit. I had at least two new cystic acne appearing every week and my pores congested with tiny, skin-colored bumps with new ones appearing every day.
I started on the La Roche Posay Effaclar System Kit, as I mentioned in my latest Empties: Buy Or Bye? post and it tremendously helped clear up my cystic acne, but it stopped there. After all my cystic acne disappeared, I was left with tons of red spots and discoloration, and my pores were still very much congested – all throughout my T-Zone and jawline.
About 2-3 weeks ago I started using some products from the Elucent Anti Ageing range, and I was so shocked to see the results. I can’t believe the vast improvement I’ve been seeing on my skin.
Check out my before-and-after photos and reviews of the products below. I will share my whole my skincare routine for congestions and clogged pores soon!
