Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick – Opium Noir Review

The Opium Noir lipstick is a limited edition shade and it is gorgeous! It’s a matte dark red that’s perfect for this time of year.

The thing that makes this set special is that it’s the only way you can get your hands on this limited edition Opium Noir lipstick.

The formula, as with other Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, is very smooth and creamy. Application was a breeze despite the intensity of the color. However, I do find that the color looks uneven on the lips if I have flaky lips because the pigment clings on to the flakey skin, causing the area with flakey skin to look darker than the rest of the lips. However, this isn’t a problem as soon as I exfoliate and smoothen the texture of my lips.

I love how moisturizing it feels on the lips even though it has a matte finish. This lasted on me for about 5-6 hours before fading, but it never really faded as it leaves a pretty bright stain on the lips!

Charlotte Tilbury Rock ‘N’ Kohl Eye Pencil – Bedroom Black Review

The Charlotte Tilbury Rock ‘N’ Kohl Eye Pencil is hands down one of the very best eyeliners I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried a ton!). It’s very creamy and is very easy to smudge out, but once it sets it’s completely budge proof. It takes about 30 seconds for the liner to completely dry up on the skin.

The liner lasted over 10 hours on my upper and lower lash line but only about 6 hours on the lower waterline, which is pretty darn impressive!

Final Verdict

All in all I highly recommend this set because even though the contents seem simple, they’re two very basic necessities in anyone’s makeup collection. Plus, the quality of these products are undeniably incredible.
