Hey, my loves!
If you follow me on Instagram you’d know that I was in Singapore for a day a few days back.
Well, I chose the perfect time to be in Singapore – there were so many sales going on! But the highlight of my shopping spree would have to be the Shiseido Sale where brands such as Shiseido, Cle de Peau, Maquillage, NARS, Ettusais just to name a few, were on sale!
The sale took place in the Shiseido HQ in 1 Grange Rd, off Orchard Rd and is actually an annual thing.
My mom (yes, my mom!) and I scored some pretty amazing stuff from NARS, Cle de Peau and Ettusais – check out my Cle de Peau haul below.
As some of you may know, Cle de Peau is my favorite high-end/luxury makeup brand. None of their products have disappointed me. Ever. So I was so excited to see tons of Cle de Peau goodies on sale coz their original prices are through-the-roof expensive!
I forgot the prices of the products, I only remember the price for the foundation. So I will update you on the prices later!

Note that these lipsticks are the refills. Cle de Peau no longer sells products with permanent packagaing, most of their products are now refillable in an attempt to become more eco-friendly. How awesome is that? So I had to purchase the lipstick holders in a department store separately the next day.

For the Enriched Lip Luminizer, I got it in the shade 202 and it’s a warm rosy-pink shade, although it looks rather peachy. It also has tiny golden shimmers in it. The texture is very “slippery”, almost liquid even. So texture-wise it’s definitely the complete opposite of the Extra Rich Lipsticks.

Another pinky product I got was the Rosy Frost Blush from their Winter Holiday 2013 collection. Yes, I know it’s way over a year old, but it’s so beautiful I just can’t resist!
The texture is very slippery, unlike most cream blushes that have thicker consistencies. When I swirled my fingers on the pot, the texture felt a bit runny, but when dabbed on the skin, it turns out to be very blendable and forgiving. It is rather sheer, but definitely buildable.
The shade is a rosy, berry pink with a beautiful frosty finish. The frosty finish definitely gives the cheeks a lift.

One of the things that really attracted me to this product was actually the lid, the reddish purple gradient with a simple logo on the side is just stunning!
The last thing I got from the Cle de Peau stand was of course my favorite full-coverage foundation, the Silky Cream Foundation.
I have a sentimental attachment to this foundation because I wore it on my wedding day a little over two years ago, but that wasn’t the reason I repurchased it at all. This foundation is simply my favorite and the one I reach for the most when I need a full coverage foundation, and I ran out of this some time early last year.
I have been on a foundation-buying-ban for a while, but when I saw this on sale, I just couldn’t resist because one of the reasons I didn’t repurchase this last year was because it was just too expensive.

So there you have it!
Did you visit the Shiseido HQ during their sale too? Let me know if you did!
Stay tuned for my NARS haul post coming up next.
