Too Faced Love Flush Blush Wardrobe Review

If I could only have five blushes from Sephora, this would definitely be one of them.

I purchased the Too Faced Love Flush blush in Love Hangover over a year ago and I love it so much. I wanted to get other colors, but I had a feeling that Too Faced will release a palette that will contain all of the shades, and they did. So thankful I didn’t buy the individual blushes because I don’t think I would be able to use them all up, ever!

So anyways, here’s my Too Faced Love Flush Blush Wardrobe review!

PS: Make sure you read ’til the end to see how you can WIN a Love Flush palette!

Too Faced Love Flush Palette Swatches

Too Faced Love Flush Swatches in Love Hangover, Baby Love, I Will Always Love You, How Deep Is Your Love, Justify My Love and Your Love Is King.

Love Hangover, my ultimate favorite, is a warm-toned coral pink with a gorgeous sheen. It isn’t too overly shimmery, it just makes the skin glow. This is my favorite because it’s so similar to the Becca Flowerchild Mineral Blush (reviewed here), my favorite blush of all time.

Baby Love is a muted rosy pink with gold micro shimmers, my second favorite because it’s the luminous version of Tarte’s Exposed, another blush favorite of mine.

I Will Always Love You is a warm-toned bright coral with gold shimmers. This probably has the most amount of shimmers out of them all, but still manages to look gorgeous on the skin. Not too glittery that makes you look like a disco ball.

How Deep Is Your Love is a peachy pink with a satin finish. This doesn’t have any shimmer particles, but the satin finish still manages to make the skin look dewy and glowing. It’s very easy to go overboard with this shade because it’s so pigmented, so make sure to use a light hand during application.

Justify My Love, although the least I’ve used, it’s still a cute color. It’s a cool-toned bubblegum pink that sometimes look light purple under certain lighting. It really reminds me of Colourpop’s Mochi blush (reviewed here)! This has less of a frosty finish than the first three shades, it’s actually almost matte with bits of gold micro shimmer.

Your Love Is King is another one with a satin finish, and it’s a gorgeous warm-toned plummy rose.

Color Payoff

Intensity and color payoff is definitely amazing. Some of these apply very intensely, namely the darker colors like How Deep Is Your Love and Your Love Is King, but the other shades are soft and diffused when applied, but can definitely built up to your desired opacity.

Formula

The formula is very creamy and smooth, which makes application a breeze. It doesn’t apply patchily at all, and even when it fades, it doesn’t fade in weird patches.

It’s also not overly powdery when you swirl your brush around it.

Longevity

Too Faced claims that these have a 16-hour weartime, and I can frankly say that that is not the case at all. At best, these last for about 8 to 9 hours, but that’s still exceptional for a powder blush. I just don’t understand why they’d claim it’d last 16 hours, such a let down!

Packaging

They come in a slim, cardboard packaging with a mirror, and the sizes of each blush are pretty decent. I’m pretty sure I’ll get a lot of wear from them.

Here’s a comparison of the palette with the individual full-sized blush and individual travel/GWP-sized blush.

Too Faced Love Flush Palette (3)

(Those two individual blushes are in the shade Love Hangover, I love the shade so much I got the travel sized too LOL).

So as you can see the blush pans are the same size as the travel sized ones.

Price

In the US, these retail for US$36 and is currently only available on the Too Faced website. I think they’re sold out at Ulta, which used to have them. Individually, they retail for US$26, so I think this is such a great bargain. You get to try all six colors without having to waste US$156!

In Australia, these retail for AU$53 (approx. US$37) at Mecca, and individually retail for AU$41 (approx. US$29).

Final Verdict

So, is this worth it? I really think it is.

Just don’t think about the 16-hour wear claim, I think it’s pure BS, but if you look past that claim and focus on how gorgeous this is on the skin, I think you’ll enjoy these just as much as I do.
