Olivia Palermo x Ciaté London The Cheekbone Cheat Blusher Bronzer Duo in Seaside Park Review

#BLOGMAS DAY 6

So, I’m sure by now you’re all well-aware that Ciate collaborated with Olivia Palermo to create a beautiful Fall 2015 collection. They’ve got palettes, blush and bronzer duos, lipsticks, and liners.

I got the Blusher Bronzer Duo in Seaside Park back in September, and it’s been one of my most-used makeup products for the past few months. They were even featured in two of my monthly favorites posts! (Check out my September and November favorites posts!)

Read on for my Olivia Palermo x Ciaté London The Cheekbone Cheat Blusher Bronzer Duo in Seaside Park review and swatches.

Packaging

They come in a round, gold plastic packaging with the top covered in what looks like a textured black faux leather.

Ciate x OP Blush (2)

It looks and feels luxurious, and is very light but sturdy and safe for traveling. I’ve traveled with this a lot and I’ve had never had any issues with it breaking or shattering.

Ciate x OP Blush (5)

Oh, and the mirror fills up the whole lid and is so handy to have!

Now, can we just take a moment to appreciate the Ciate bow and OP embossing on the pan? Ugh, I can’t get over how beautiful this is!

Product

Shades

These Blusher Bronzer duos come in two shades:

  • Buff Point, a deep pink tone for fairer skin tones, and
  • Seaside Park, a peachy tone for olive and darker skin tones.

The undertones in the Buff Point blush seemed to be too cool, so I opted for the Seaside Park, and I’m so glad I did. The warmth of the shade lifts up my whole complexion, making it look fresh and naturally flushed.

The bronzer is also amazing! It’s the perfect bronzer for me because it’s not too orange, muddy or brown. It’s the perfect greyish brown shade for a natural contour.

I wore this blush this morning – check out the photos here!

Texture

I honestly have never encountered powder blushers and bronzers that are as smooth as these Ciate ones. It’s not overly powdery, but the texture is smoother than a baby’s butt. Yes, smoother!

Longevity

The blush wears for about 8-9 hours before fading. The bronzer has longer wear time on areas that aren’t too oily, like the jawline.

Price

These retail for US$32 at Sephora and Birchbox, and £25.00 at Look Fantastic.

These are limited edition though, so better get this quick before they’re sold out! The shade Buff Point is unfortunately already sold out in Sephora. 🙁

Overall

I highly recommend this blush and bronzer duo! Fantasic formula, gorgeous packaging, lovely colors, intense pigmentation and great longevity. Plus, it’s a limited edition!
