L’Oreal Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator Review

The hype for highlighters, liquid or powder, still hasn’t gone away and I don’t think it ever will because who doesn’t love looking like a glowing goddess?

Highlighters were most pervasive among luxurious brands, the most popular to date being the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors, which I’ve reviewed here, and the Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Skin, which I’ve mentioned here. However, cheaper brands have recently jumped in on the highlighter bandwagon and released powder and liquid highlighters – L’Oreal’s being one of the most talked about ones.

So now that drugstore brands have entered the highlighter market, is it necessary for us to spend extra money for luxurious or high end ones?

The Art of Layering

Coming from a tropical country with only two seasons (hot and very hot!) I’m not used to layering or styling winter-wear. However, living in Melbourne for nearly 3 years has helped me master the skill of layering.

With four seasons in a day, I am constantly mixing and matching different outfits by experimenting with different colors, styles, and patterns. This skill might just come naturally to you if you live in Melbourne!

Most people are, at first, nervous about the idea of layering but it is essentially just dressing up for comfort and style! I am going to give you a few tips on how to layer your everyday outfit without too much of a hassle.

Are you all excited that the Sephora VIB Sale is finally here? I sure am and have made my order two nights ago!

This Benefit Real Cheeky Party Palette was originally in my wish list, but I was so lucky to have the girls at Benefit Australia send one to me! I can’t be happier because I missed out on last year’s palette, and I was totally bummed out that I had to wait for another year for another blush palette to come out.

Benefit blushes have always been favorites of mine, especially Dandelion since it was the blush I wore on my wedding day, and Coralista, as it was one of the first blushes I’ve ever owned! Pretty sentimental about them! So when they came out with a palette containing a few of their best selling blushes, I can’t resist!
